These are for the 2010-2011 team:

May practices: Tuesday May 18 3:30 to 5:30 PM, May 25th 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Summer practices: June (plan on Tuesday- Thursday starting the 14th of June through camp)

Summer Camp: June 28 through July 1 @ Davis Conference Center in Layton (we'll stay in a hotel there, rather than at USU). It's an indoor camp!!!

Regular Practice will begin the first Tuesday in August. We will practice Tuesday through Thursday from 7 to 10 AM at Riverton High.

New Team Safety Clinic

The safety clinic will be held May 7th at 4 PM here at Riverton High. It will be about two hours long and is 100% mandatory for anyone on our team. If you cannot make this or any commitment, please do not try out.

All interested candidates must have a 3.0 3rd Quarter GPA in order to be eligible to tryout. There are NO EXCEPTIONS!! Cumulative GPAs will not be accepted.

Please bring the original report card (we'll give them back after tryouts)
Skyward printouts or photo copies will not be accepted.

Riverton High School Cheer leader Tryouts

2010 - 2011 Tryouts will be held the 14 - 16 of April in the small gym at Riverton High School. All clinics and tryouts are closed to the public. No filming allowed.

Mandatory Parent/Candidate Meeting April 12 @ 7:30 PM in the Tech Atrium at Riverton High
Open gym for song and cheer April 12 - 13 from 3:00 to 5:30 PM in the small gym. Participating in open gym is strongly encouraged but not mandatory for tryout.
Mandatory clinics Wed (April 14) and Thursday (April 15) from 3:15 - 5:30 PM
Tryout will be Friday, April 16th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM.
We will only have a cheerleading (JV and Varsity) team this year but we are allowing anyone from INCOMING sophomores to seniors try out. We will do a separate song leading competition team AFTER cheer tryouts.
